What are the best leg exercises in the gym?

 For many people, the gym is a large part of their life. It brings many people happiness, helps people create new friendships, helps with mental health, and also obviously it helps with physical health. One thing many people (including myself) don't like exercising is their legs. A lot of people skip leg day and it really shows. So, here are some of the best leg exercises so you don't look like you skip leg day. 

The first exercise is squats


This is the most common leg workout and for good reason. This workout allows you to load heavy weight and it hits all parts of your legs. The only thing is the form is not so easy to get down so it must be practiced with low weight beforehand.

The next exercise is quad extensions

This exercise specifically targets your quads and nothing else. This exercise also requires a machine so you must have a gym membership unfortunately to do this exercise. But, since this is using a machine it is super easy to get the form down and is amazing for adding defonition to your quads.

Last but not least, we have hamstring curls

This exercise can be done a variety of ways. You can use a machine in the gym, a ball, or weights. This exercise targets your hamstrings specifically and also allows you to load heavy weight. Also it is very important you do this workout since hamstrings are the biggest muscle in the leg and having well developed hamstrings will make your legs look huge. 

In the end, legs are not hit enough. Everyone is guilty of skipping leg day and it is important we all hit them and do the best exercises.
